“Broker … an agent who negotiates contracts of purchase and sale …” (Merriam-Webster)

Generally, there are 3 ways to buy or sell merchandise.

  1. Having a purchasing/sales office within the Company
  2. Doing it by themselves, perhaps using e-commerce sites
  3. Demanding the work to a broker

The first case has high management costs, which can be offset by a high workload. And, in fact, it is the preferred option for big companies. These offices are run by professionals who know their job very well.

The second option is a personal choice, with its pro and cons.

The third possibility is my job.

What a trading broker does

As a trading broker in Italy and abroad, I can help you do market research, buy, sell, arrange shipments and everything related to Import/Export.

You provide me with all the data necessary for the research and, my partners and me, are committed to providing you with a broader view of the market situation you are interested in, in order to offer you the best conditions to buy or sell your products.

And together we will evaluate the results in the best way.

All with a cost-benefit ratio that – of course – you will find advantageous.

A broker has lower costs than a purchasing/sales office

As a freelance, my running costs are not borne by my clientele.

“Freelance … A person who pursues a profession without a long-term commitment to any one employer …” (Merriam-Webster)

My profit is the commission charged on the amount of the order. So easy to calculate and add as a percentage to the costs of the product, to determine the final price.

A broker has the experience

Working with multiple customers, I was able to know and face various problems and still the continuous work puts me in front of new situations, increasing my experience.

A broker has its partners already

To work with a foreign country, it is essential, in my opinion, to have the help and the expertise of the local people, who can manage the technical and legal aspects inherent in the business. I am fortunate to have valid partners who speed up the work and offer greater security.

A broker contributes to easier communication

Each country has its own customs and traditions, its own way of thinking, living, and working. Sometimes it happens to pose with opposite and irreconcilable attitudes in front of a situation that has arisen, with the inevitable result of lengthening times and increasing costs. Living so often in contact with my partners and some suppliers, I acquired a mentality that helps me in communication.
